Some techniques involve manually modifying the registry. It is strongly urged that the sections of the registry that pertain to the XStudio Voice Tracker audio engine be backed up before they are modified. See the Registry Information topic for details on where information is stored. |
The audio engine is installed as a Windows service and is set up to automatically start when the PC's operating system is loaded. This makes the audio engine available before any user login is performed on the host PC.

This version requires the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable Package (x86), which is automatically installed by the dcsTools Audio Engine installer if not present on the host system.
