Stopping a File Scan Operation

Sometimes you may want to stop a scan operation, either because it's taking too long or you have decided to change some of the scan settings.

When a file scan is in progress, the [Stop Scan] button is enabled. Stop the scanning by clicking on this button. During a scan, an animation appears, indicating that a scan for .DAF files is active. During an active scan, an LED on the bottom status bar of the main display also changes colors.

If you stop an in-progress scan, the data displayed on-screen is not affected. iDAF simply stops the file scan operation and discards the cart information gathered to the point where the scan operation was stopped.
