In order to use XStudio Recorder, the application needs to know about the location of the audio files used by your automation system and which available record audio channels (audio input) will be used as a default, among other things.
There are a number of preference settings that enable or disable certain features within XStudio Recorder and other settings that affect the behavior of XStudio Recorder at run-time.
When changes are made and "applied" (saved), XStudio Recorder automatically updates its behavior to match the new settings, with just a few exceptions - notably, any changes to the database location.
