XStudo PostMajik Utilities is a group of companion utility applications for XStudio PostMajik, our RDS and web billboard software.
PostMajik Client is used for remote monitoring and maintenance of the XStudio PostMajik system, while the PostMajik RDS Receiver Simulator is used for testing of system RDS output to ensure the XStudio PostMajik system is sending the correct RDS messages for your encoder type.

XStudio PostMajik Client is useful only if you are using XStudio PostMajik and the PostMajik Receiver Simulator is useful in testing XStudio PostMajik RDS output and could be used to test other RDS generator applications' output.
Remote Monitoring & Maintenance of XStudio PostMajik!
PostMajik Client is the same client application as is installed with XStudio PostMajik, packaged separately for installation and use on PC's other than the XStudio PostMajik host PC. PostMajik client provides the means to remotely monitor and maintain the XStudio PostMajik system.
You can use PostMajik Client to connect to the XStudio PostMajik server from anywhere you can access the machine hosting the XStudio PostMajik server via TCP/IP. You can use PostMajik Client to do the following:
- Monitor XStudio PostMajik system status, including any system-wide reported errors.
- Maintain system-wide text and RDS posting templates.
- Monitor current status and posting activity of any active station.
- Maintain any station's cart categories and messages.
- Maintain any stations's music data, including manually importing updated data, individual song record editing and proper-casing song titles, artists and album names.
- Review any station's text posting log.
- Review any station's individual error log for details on when and what errors have occurred, if any.
- Optionally perform some administrative tasks, including system configuration, station configuration and associated station post items. As a default, PostMajik Client's administrative functionality is disabled, enabling the software to be used by non-adminstrative personnel for routine station monitoring and database maintenance.

Overview
The PostMajik RDS Receiver Simulator provides a means to display RDS/RBDS-targeted serial data in a testing or simulation environment without having to have an RDS/RBDS encoder in service. While intended for use in testing setup of RDS data generated by XStudio PostMajik, PostMajik RDS Receiver Simulator could be used to test or simulate RDS data receipt from any generator application.
Data sent by the generator application is analyzed on receipt and if the data is PS or RT information, the information is displayed in the appropriate display field.
There are a number of options for RDS data display, including simulating dynamic scrolling PS data and on-demand display of RT data.
Non-display data sent by the generator application can be viewed in the integrated terminal window.

License
We do not charge for the companion software contained in the XStudio PostMajik Utilities group. All software is subject to a license agreement, though. Read the full text of the agreement here.
